You may be fully prepared to give a great speech as far as content and delivery is concerned. However, there are a few physical aspects to acknowledge before beginning your speech.
1) Make sure you are well rested – you will look and sound better!
2) Prepare for speech with light exercise and short, brisk walk or run. Exercising will get your blood circulating, and will send more oxygen to your brain.
3) Sip room temperature water, ideally with a bit of lemon to lubricate your throat. Avoid sugary beverages, as they will dry out your mouth and throat, author Brian Tracy points out.
Ensure a successful speech by paying attention to what your mind and body need ahead of time.
