I just completed a very interesting an fun interview with Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai (pronounced like, “I adore ya”). If you are a banker…and maybe even if you are not…you will enjoy this story. He is an immigrant from Mumbai, India; four degrees from MIT; founder of startup companies; and one of the key creators of the concept of electronic mail…yes, email…at the age of 14. Now, he spends his time competing for the U.S. Senate seat currently occupied by Elizabeth Warren. You bankers know her quite well. You know, the one responsible for the demise of community banks throughout the country with her penchant for mis-regulation. Warren has not been a great friend of community and regional banking. One word: CFPB!
Transcript of interview will be posted on Friday.
